Минздрав РФ предупреждает о новой опасной болезни легких, вызванной использованием вейпов
Руководитель Центра профилактики и контроля потребления табака ФГБУ «НМИЦ терапии и профилактической медицины» Минздрава России, Маринэ Гамбарян, уведомила о новой и опасной болезни, связанной с использованием вейпов — EVALI (англ. E-cigarette and Vaping use-Associated Lung Injury).
Заболевание представляет собой острое ингаляционное повреждение легочной ткани. «95 процентов пациентов с диагнозом EVALI требуют госпитализации в отделение пульмонологии или интенсивной терапии, а одной трети из них необходима искусственная вентиляция легких», — уточнила она.
Симптомы EVALI схожи с симптомами COVID-19, что замедлило изучение болезни с началом пандемии коронавируса. Это привело к остановке роста выявляемости EVALI, однако опасность этого заболевания для потребителей вейпов остается высокой.
В Минздраве указали, что среди симптомов EVALI, схожих с COVID-19, наблюдаются общая слабость, одышка, недомогание, повышенная температура и нарушения пищеварительной системы.
