Европарламентарий предупреждает о вреде антидепрессантов для экосистем Европы
Член Европейского парламента от Греции Сакис Арнаутоглу выразил обеспокоенность по поводу того, что фармацевтические препараты, в частности антидепрессанты, представляют угрозу для водной флоры и фауны, загрязняя экосистему Европы.
Лекарственные вещества попадают в водные экосистемы через сточные воды, и это вызывает огромные опасения за здоровье водных экосистем в целом.
В своей заявлении Арнаутоглу ссылается на недавние научные исследования, показывающие, что загрязнение водоемов антидепрессантами, такими как флуоксетин, негативно сказывается на физическом состоянии и поведении рыб.
Он интересуется, какие меры будут приняты для контроля и снижения концентрации фармацевтических веществ в водоемах ЕС. Арнаутоглу также спрашивает о наличии конкретных планов по улучшению технологий очистки сточных вод и каким образом Еврокомиссия планирует сотрудничать с государствами для введения более строгих правил, направленных на защиту водной флоры и фауны от воздействия фармацевтических загрязнителей.
